Quilt Shoppe Boutique

In the fall of 2003 Rhonda decided to open a retail store with a t-shirt and fabric shop with 300 bolts of fabric.  With her mom, Patsy her quilting machine "grandma", it didn't take long to realize that the 200sq ft building was not big enough to house all of their equipment.  Not getting any work done due to excessive talking and decorating, Patsy decided to move her quilting business  back home.  This movement gave way to a rather bizarre happening.  With every shipment there was a new shelf to be assembled and re-organization to be done.  Two years later it was obvious that the store was busting at the seams.  The Quilt Shoppe had to move.  

In the fall of 2006 the perfect location presented itself.  Rhonda's Grandma in-law had a beautiful furniture store building for rent.  With a little paint and big dreams the store was blooming into it's full potential.  By February 2007 we were on the run.  With a handful of customers and several family members the shop was settled in a week.  I would like to tell you that it was perfectly organized, but as luck would have it we are ever changing and re-organizing our spacious 5800sq ft store front.  There is now over 8000 bolts of fabric, 100 book titles, patterns, fat quarters, thread and many, many notions.  The Quilt Shoppe can accommodate around 30 people in it's classroom.  There is 4 cutting area's  and one huge ironing table!

With the help of very special friends, the Quilt Shoppe was able to carry a very eclectic assortment of fabrics, home decor and gift items relating to the quilting industry can offers a variety of classes.  Join us in these exciting times and see what all the fuss is about.

With over 8500 bolts of fabric, there is an eclectic arrangement of colors and designs as wells as 100's of books and patterns to inspire your soul.  We offer classes for beginners and advanced piecers and those who hand applique'.
